Finally had some time to get the mounted cultivator on dad's B Farmall. Went for a test drive, center the drivers side row in the center of the shields. After 20 feet, I looked backed and saw the other row cover by dirt because the inside shield was on the outside of the left row. So I got out the tape measure and measured the distance between the center of the shields which was 42 inches, not good on 40 inch rows. The interesting part is that there is a 2 inch spacer welded into the shield bracket on all 4 shields which mounts on the gangs which makes them narrow if the gang spacing is correct.
Anyways, has anybody got any experience on setting up any cultivator as in gang spacing and shield spacing?
