Tail end of the 30s went with Dad and he bought some seed corn in a bag from people getting into the business. Remember Him saying that fall after corn was hand picked that He thought "new seed corn" would make farmer more money than the tractor cause you got a yeild. I can remember the old seed planted spindly stalks small ears ect then the "new" corn had bigger stalks ears ect. Just look at the yelds no from just 15 yrs ago and we got more to learn 300 is just around corner.
