KARE 11 is an NBC affiliate, so their righteous indignation only goes so far as 6:30PM, when the "NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt" comes on, and then the name and face is all over your screen. After Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, or King of Queens, or Seinfeld, or whatever they show in the 7:00PM hour, here comes Dateline NBC, and even more coverage of the shooter, naming names and showing faces.
They're hypocrites making a play for some extra attention. If they were really concerned about it they would preempt any network programming that goes against their beliefs. However, that would mean a quick end to their NBC affiliation.
