Are your blades worn down? Also with my Sitrex (spelling) it needs to be level front to back and side to side. Mine doesn't leave any strips except sometimes when doing the back swath we don't hold out far enough and leave some of the hay where the tire has ran over. Don't know if this will help or not. Keith
