I commute 25 mi each way. I have worn out several cars. I look for cheap. Cheap to buy, cheap to fix and cheap to insure. I wore out 2 Celebrities, 2 Lesabres and now am on a Taurus. My favorite is the Taurus. All good on gas all good in the snow with good tires. The last thing you want is a little known like the Mitsubishi. I can go in any store and get brake pads etc, no problem. And if you're so inclined, crash parts are easy to find if something should happen. AWD will cost you about 2 mpg, too. Just my 2 cents.
