You're lucky. Normally when a window quits it's the job from H. I think they must assemble the mechanism before putting the outer skin on. They never seem to give you enough room to get your hands in there to work. I usually have to start by cutting the openings bigger. We have a 99 ford contour the driver window has a bad regulator and the morons have designed it with a cable that goes all around the door. That is one thing but I don't think anyone older than five can get their hands in the door. I had to prop a stick of wood in there to make sure the window stays up and put the door panel back on and leave it like it is.
