I have a small field that was established sod. It is a very wet field so when it was dry on the 21st. of April I planted it to corn. I had disked it twice before planting and that did a pretty good job. Well shortly after planting we got some pounding rains and then the weather turned cold. So much of the seed sprouted and then rotted in the ground. Then after it came up it got hit with frost 2 nights in a row. But none of that extreme weather kept that sod from re rooting. Long story long that field looked pitiful. Finally dried enough to get in and spray it about 3 days ago. It looked just like your lawn. Grass about 6 inches tall and what corn is out there is about the same height. I plant Liberty crops instead of roundup. Same concept but a different mode of action. Anyway I Added atrazine to the tank mix. Drove past it today and you should see the excellent kill I have. I was about ready to give up on it but now I think I will end up with maybe a 75% yield.
