Next County over has just recently discovered a 19 million dollar shortfall as they call it. It came as a surprise to them so the news is reporting. The list of reasons is long one of which is poor administration and accounting. Surprise, surprise. Another is unauthorized overtime, it seems amazing to me that numbers like this can go unnoticed as they say. This county school system has been in the news for many years always negative things. Other counties have problems as well but this one always seems to take the cake. But them the fix is always easy, higher taxes = more money. It seems as thought they should start over from the school board on to the school administration. If 19 million in spending can go unnoticed what else are they missing?
