If those are the Double-Spring Conibear traps, about 11" Square...you don't need "Bait"..
Just spread the trigger wires apart so the Hog thinks he can sneak through the trap..
I just place the trap over the hole they are using..maybe place a few stones around to support the trap and lay a couple on top of the springs to hold it in place..
I aught one that was so large he had Backed into the trap and would never have fit through the trap..and it was Plenty alive when I pulled it out of it's hole...but the trap held him for sure..it is the only one I have found alive with Conibear's..
