Didn't know Echo had a 265, but regardless, I bought a 225 earlier this year, and am more than satisfied with it. I love the restringing feature, and even though its a 2stroke, it hardly smokes at all. Super easy to start, and is lighter than the 4cycle strimmer I replaced. I hated to go back to mixing gas, but I haven't even used near a full gallon yet, and its been run a good bit so far this year, and the summer is just getting started. IM going to go by the dealer recommendations, and use the Echo oil, and non ethanol gas for now, but I can see me using another brand of oil once the warranty is up.
