Go to RockAuto.com, click on your application, go to the electrical section and then click on the genrators/alternators section. While they are not always accurate, you can see pictures of each type of alternator they sell (in the photos mode, click on the arrow to see side, front and back views) and you can compare the photos to what you have on your truck. Most brands sold have three or four photos of each alternator listed.
