Hi! I'm an anthropology undergrad at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and I'm participating in an archaeological excavation at a historical site by the Catawba River. A couple days ago we uncovered what looks like part of a wheel for some sort of farm equipment (I wasn't sure if it was for a tractor or not) but we need help identifying what it is to find out its potential age. I've included pictures below of it scaled to a tape measurer and of both sides along with its width (1-2 cm). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
