those cars were worth taking the time to shine up ,,.around 1972 or so ,, a neighbor kid ha d a 41 chevy very similar to that ,,.mice had lived in it too long ,and had a 1962 plate , he had it given to him because he cut a ladies grass , and I helped get it running ,.they pizt me off .after I got it runnin.everything seemed to work on it . IT WAS a STRAIGHT Car, but they got to driving log roads in the woods and jumping ramps and such beating the hale out of it,. , knokt a hole in the oil pan and lokt her up ... DAmshame. the kid ended up in jail a few yrs later, and his son was sent up 20 yrs later,. nother kid took a straight 48 Plymouth his dad give him on his 15th birthday and turned it into a jungle bugie,,no hood , no top , no fenders ,no mufflers, chains on the rear tires and the durn thing had positive track .. they went everywhere ..
