Part 2 (the almosts)So at one point the F-20 was being traded for a Ford 6000. Paperwork filled out and all ready to go when a neighbor stopped by to say if you get that 6000 you wont make it through planting season on the tranny. He had two failures on the same tractor. So that was halted. Next we are filling silo and needed more HP on the cutter and it was decided to trade a Massey 44 for a 4010. Well that didn't happen because an 85 Massey Ferguson could do the same work for less dollars and less fuel. So that's where the Massey 85 came in. And finally a second to last bid at a farm sale on a 706 because "it was way too cheap" my dad thought. I pleaded don't do it as it was a gas. And I believe that's when the 1850 Oliver became a reality since we "lost the 706" as he put it !!!
