This was my uncle's tractor for years. His main field tractor. That 401 is a unique sounding engine somewhat reminiscent of the 930 I used to run. The dry disk brakes are a weak spot. Somebody eventually forgets to release the park brake and burns them up a few times and they are done. I kept that in mind yesterday while backing downhill to the edge of a slough to dump the rocks from the picker.
