I finally took the battery to my forklift in to get it checked. It was only 7 years old and measured a charge of 12.7 volts, but it would not crank the motor even after a very thorough connection cleaning. At my locally owned independent auto parts store they put it on the tester and it showed almost no output. I got a new one for $100.00, put it on and it spins right over now.
