Manufacturing has gone the way that fast food will be, more automation and less employment due to the wage structure, benefit costs and pension costs being out of whack compared to the world. They used to joke that GM was a pension plan that made cars, not far from true. The widowed mother of a friend at work had her GM bonds stolen by the Current Occupant, dividends from them she depended on for part of her living. I hope he and his rot in ____ for what they did.
