I am trying to put a 12.5 hp kohler from an STX38 into a LA110 automatic that had a Briggs 19.5 hp in it. I have the engine bolted in. The crankshaft is the same diameter and length. It bolted into 3 of the same 4 holes the kohler came out of. The 4th bolt went into another hole in the frame nearby. There are 12 bolt holes in the frame around the crankshaft clearance hole. I need to do some electrical wiring conversion. They both have a fuel bowl solenoid. However the other wires from the tractor I am not sure what they do, or where they go. Is there a free online source where I can get the diagrams for both units. My FIL stopped at the Deere Dealer this morning, and got photocopies of what appears to be the parts diagrams. They are not that helpful. Will also post on the Garden Tractor page.
