Split the field with millet and sunflower but do not mix the tow. The sunflower will choke out the millet. Sunflower as the other poster has said is pretty easy to plant and grow. I sometimes use the planter and put them in rows but broadcast will work for you. Nice if you had something to roll them lightly with after you scatter them. I use a double row cultipacker and get good stands.
