JD, I no secret, I don't share many like for metal. I've seen too many things happen with metal. You are right, get the right stuff and roofs can last a long time. I'm now using 35 year shingles. There are 50 year ones now. Law of averages, hail replaces my shingles.
I've seen too many things that I don't like about metal.
Sorry if I upset people by listings the cons of metal.
