Its a Ford thang a Fusion has the same issue.. A coil will cause a melt down also... It will fudge up every new coil you install on it even if it will not start :shock: You could be into it 8/9 new coils...
Even though damage to the PCM is typically caused by only one ignition coil, all 6 ignition coils and spark plugs MUST be replaced prior to re-installing the PCM to prevent premature failure of the computer again.
