Was wondering if it was a small seed seeder, odd that a big outfit would bother with alfalfa they typically run corn/bean rotation in these parts, no room or time for any other crop.
Yup, rock picker, I have too many rocks, I don't know how a machine 4 or 5 feet wide helps pick up the thousands of rock on this place. Would make sense if one used a rock windrowed first I guess, then follow the windrow with that picker.
A company in Marshall MN makes a smaller size self powered version of picker like that, can be pulled by an ATV, had considered getting one for the wife but for the price.....
So far its a bend over and pick up operation here, except for the really big ones.
