Got a question - don't mean to sound like an ignoramus.....
But...
Is there a trade secret to easily pulling the remote hoses from a tractor?
Our old Ford 3000's remote had a hood that retracted to let the balls that secure the hydraulic fitting retract as well - freeing the hose for removal. On my newer JD tractor, there is no hood. Plug in the hose, hope it stays in and - the part I'm struggling with - pulling them out. They don't come out very easily. I must be doing something obviously wrong.
I've relieved the hydraulic pressure in the hoses, but they are hard as heck to pull loose.
What am I doing wrong? Can someone set me straight on this?
