Like I said, I take an unpopular view about metal roofing. I will stop next time and take pics of all the damaged roof in my area.
Here are pics of pole barns damaged by winds. Guess they weren't made properly. Recently on the local news, the only storm damage they could find is a metal roof totally removed by wind.
Here is a post of a jail's metal roof. All government projects must be built by licensed, insured and bonded contractors and sub-contractors and pass a building inspector. Again excuses will be, must have not built it properly. This was shown on local news. When they showed the roof being removed, rust under metal. My guess is condensation under metal which could have been caused by many people in jail taking steamy showers and no ventilation under metal.
