Steve, thanks for the info, the fuel pump is working, you can hear it when you turn the key on and feel it, it filled the fuel bowl when I drained it. I, too, think it has to be the fuel shut off solenoid, it's either getting hot and shutting off or losing power to it momentarily. I just have to find it and see what kind of power it's getting. It's raining "cats and dogs" down here today, mower shed is too far away for me to get out in this stuff today. I'll have to get at it tomorrow AM. Thanks again.
