I liked most of JW's movies and I imagine he was an OK guy but I don't agree that he needs a special day of recognition. He gets recognition in the name of royalties paid to his family. What about all those people that play by the rules, work to support and raise a family and pay their taxes. They are seldom appreciated for their contribution to society.
I also think it's shameful to name government building's, parks and highways after a politician.
