We had a major forest fire (Butte Fire) here last year in Sept that ran wild for nearly a month. It burned nearly 71000 populated acres destroying 900 structures, about half were homes. It came to within 4 miles of my place.
Many tractors were lost. They sell the heck out of 4x4 Kubotas and Kioti medium tractors here and some JDs too. The Kioti dealer told me last week he is still selling appx. 3 per week.. Most are used for property restoration and maintenance, but lately pot has become the major crop in Calaveras County, but I dont believe anyone is growing it as a row crop.
