We have a Wisconsin brand manufactured house. Been in it for 21 years, at the time we put it up Wisconsin was about the only company at least what we could find with 8' inside walls and 4/12 roof pitch. I don't think that is a problem anymore. At that time most manufactured house were 3/12 pitch and 7.5 inside walls so they could be moved down the road and put together with less effort. Our house wasn't delivered on a trailer it had the wheels and hitch bolted to it. Made it easier to get them back to the factory. Our house is 28x50' and is very well built, 2x6 studs and fiberglass batt insulation we hear the wind blowing but don't feel anything inside. The only problem we have and it's not the house's fault is that we are getting hail every 5 years so the vinyl siding and asphalt shingled roof take a hit. This spring we put steel on the roof to avoid shingling next time it hails.
