I used to buy repairable cars, fix them and resell them. I once got a Ford Taurus with what I considered a fairly light hit in the driver side doors. There was a letter on the floor of the back seat that looked like it had never been mailed. We put it in another envelope because it wasn't in the best shape and mailed it. We got a letter back from a very grateful wife who said that her husband had died in the accident and that this was the last communication they had gotten from him. She was very, very thankful. I could have just as easily thrown it away but something told me it might be important.
