Do you know the original purchaser can stop payment on a money order? If they have the stub, they can get their money back and keep the M.O. Happened here, got a money order for a down payment on a car. had a stop payment out on it. Managers brother is chief deputy at the sheriffs office next door. The guys had some tall explaining to do. needless to say, the car was returned before they tore it up.
