Agreed, The English language is made up of broken pieces of many other languages, and the American version is even worse. The proper use is just an opinion, someone decided that it should be used or said a certain way. There, their, they're ( :lol: ) is nothing wrong with being consistent but the proper use could be regional, it's not like math that is based on logic and never changes. So many people that get hung up on correct grammar have a hard time with math. When I go to the bank with a business plan the banker doesn't give me an English or spelling test but he does ask to see my math.
