The improved the AFM after 2007 when it shut off whole banks of cylinders. They shut down cylinders in a random order now and have had no issues that I know of. It is fun to watch the display in the dash and see how much it runs on 4 cylinders. A lot more than I would have ever guessed. The interior is beautiful too. I was going to get a LTZ Z71 but it ended up selling before I got there. I was glad because I bought this loaded LT for $7,000 less and it has exactly what I wanted. No leather seats but I am tired of leather and am looking forward to heated cloth.
