I was going to get a new system and was reading about the ones that are wireless. As I understand it if you loose power to the transmitter it will let the collar start shocking. I sure could not have that happen as we loose power a lot. I also don't think they want you to use these systems full time. You are to put the collar on and let the dog out each time. Our dog stays out full time. If I had the money to do it I would put up a real fence. This way it would keep our dog in and all the neighborhood strays OUT. That's the main problem I have had with the pet safe in ground type is that it can keep our dog in but not the rest of the riff raff out.
