Hi Fordfarmer The newer Ford Dorset/ Dover,and the old shaft drive injection pump 6cyl Dagenham that was in the early countys some trucks and some of the early U.K combines, has the fuel injector pump on the right side. The same as the 4cyl new, power and super majors. The E27N (Major) actually has Fordson Major cast in the front of the radiator header tank. That motor should be a Perkins 288 to be correct for a 6 cyl Diesel tractor of this age, some guys are using a Perkins 305 to in more modern conversions of the E27N. There is also a 4 cyl perkins L4 that was used to but they are a lot rarer to find. Regards Robert
