This may sound weird but it does in fact work. Drive an older car that has brush guard type bumpers on it and has dents in the body. Or in other words drive a car or truck that looks like the driver does not care if he hits something or not and looks like it has taken a number of hits. That way people tend to try to stay as far from it as they can.
