My condolences to you and your family. Maybe this poem is fitting to your Father, it was part of my Dad's service in 2000. I had never seen it before but still am moved when reading it thinking of my Dad, Anton Welk. I hope it's OK to share this for all of our Dad's that have gone ahead of us.
Final Harvest He was bound to the land from the day of his birth His roots anchored deep in the fertile earth Nurtured, sustained by the soil he grew His life like his furrows ran straight and true.
