Depends on what cuts you want I believe. When I used to raise hogs, I would have 1 butchered every year for my family. I had chops, steaks, roasts, bacon sliced and cured, hams cured, pork patties, ribs, made from mine. I always had George's in Nicollet do the processing for me. They do an excellent job there. I know that having the bacon and hams can get expensive because they charge by the pound for curing these. But still worth it. The last hog I raised and butchered was around 325 lbs. and I think it cost me around $250.00 for the whole hog to be processed. And I was very happy with it also. Good luck sir. Kow Farmer Kurt
