A few fields of corn are still standing here in Northwest Iowa. The one closest to me is down bad. We did not have that bad of a fall.
I got my three acres of oats in yesterday but it is on well drained ground. A deep tile ditch for a 12" tile was dug and back filled across 400 feet of my land last December. I leveled it somewhat yesterday but it is still way mushy. The front wheels of the loader tractor sank to China in the trench so that is a good indicator to stay away for awhile. This is on higher ground. We do have some anhydrous going in but I think the guys are rushing it a bit.
