Out local Napa store is a franchise store his prices are HIGH he lost his franchise another franchise owner moved in he owns 30 plus stores. He blows everyone out of the water if you are price shopping.
If this is your filter $7.28 at the new store it would not surprise me if it would have been $13 at the old store. This holds true for our local Honda, Toyota dealer as well they make it look like I am getting a discount by selling to me at retail and inflate the list price What a deal... I buy 99% of my OEM Hon/Toy/Ford parts from out of town at a real wholesale price because of that. I know convenience comes at a price but they are less convent than the out of town stores... Those out of town store ship to me free and most of the time the same day :SHOCK" . I guess its there filter/parts that can put any price thay want on it. Once it becomes mine I price it to my liking :)
I buy my GM parts and most of my Chrysler parts from the local dealer There service can not be beat there price price yes. Sometimes its not about the price they have always been there when I needed them so its not always about the price...
