I haven't seen one of them for about a year, but the lady that is dealing with the problem is in my Sunday School class. She has improved significantly, but still has some discomfort. She is on some kind of medication. She has had a lot of tests run to zero in on specific nerves that are inflamed. She occasionally has to have some kind of injections in her ankles and/or feet.
Overall, she has improvement, but still isn't perfectly healed. I think that the doctors are actually focusing more on relieving the pain than on trying for a permanent "cure" of the problem.
I hope you can get some kind of relief soon. Both of my friends have been dealing with the problem for too long.
