I've had the s_x (won't let me post with the middle letter filled in) linked chickens a few times - crazy egg layers. I need to buy some new chickens this year. Tractor supply just started getting them in but for me its a bit too early for Western NY. I usually get some Cornish Chickens also as they are great roasting chickens. Thinking about getting some type of heavy chicken so I can keep a rooster for future egg hatching.Tractor supply has straight run Rhode Island reds but man those roosters are the nastiest things on the planet.Not sure what I'm going to do this year but I will do something with chickens.
