depending on the type of wood you're cutting, the weep hole in the bar should be cleaned every day. run a thin knife down the bar groove to clean the gunk out. if that won't do it, take the pump apart and look at the impeller. if its in good shape then replace the filter and stick a small Phillips screwdriver down the tube from the filter to the impeller. stuff can get through the filter and build up next to the pump eventually closing off the line. not too high tech of a system if you have basic mechanic skills.
