Last fall I attended my first plow day ever near Olpe,KS....It was put on by the FHAPA out of Emporia,KS..You have to be a member (insurance reasons) to plow so I joined the club so that I can go plow with them this fall...From what I've heard they have been doing this for quite a few years..
These guys knew how to plow...Several stopped to set their plows and a couple even had to move their hitches...The guys with the 88 Oliver were stopped and changing their plows setting and hitch....Most had the bottoms all polished up before even starting..They were doing a good level job in a large field that was nearly 1 mile long..
If this is the first ever plow day in your area you will have some that bring old rusty plows and they won't know how to set them..You will need an experienced person at the end of the field to help them..
