I live 11 miles from Baraboo Steam & Gas Show location. This is one of the best shows in the state; sandy soil so little mud, level ground, lots of shade trees, lots of food, and a whole lot of tractors and machinery. (check out their website).
I always bring tractors, plows, a shelter tent for shade, a few lawn chairs and a cooler of cold water...anyone who stops in can sit a spell, talk and quench their thirst. This summer I intend to bring the white shelter, a #8 plow, a Whirlwind Terracer, an H Farmall and a #30 Cockshutt. The shade, the chairs and the cold water are all free. I might charge the JD guys this year just to see their reaction. Get your reservations to me for a seat now!
