This was all drained off in a couple of hours. Watched the weather last night and the locals with rain gauges were reporting 4 inches or less. But I kind of question that. We could have been in a area that got more or the gauges could have been wrong from the strong winds blowing the rain almost sideways. In either instance the short amount of time the rain fell was the major factor. The rain came down so hard and heavy it could not drain off as fast as it was falling. As you can see from the pictures the rain had stopped but the water kept coming up as water from up stream backed up more and more. But once did stop coming up it went down as fast as it had came up.
