Well, I finally ended my search in finding a suitable project M to start on. I chronicled the trip with a video - so if you would like something to watch while you are having your morning coffee, the link will be below!
The tractor is in nice shape - tin is good and straight, tires have good tread, and a little weather checking. Rear rims are solid. Motor is locked but I don't think it will take much to get it free. I managed to get the carb and mag off yesterday when I got it home. Tripped the mag and we've got a good blue spark. I'll work on cleaning and soaking the carb today, and get the carb kit on order.
Tractor is going to need a new/used manifold. The pipe that threads into the manifold is rotted around the threads, and there isn't much thread left in the manifold. I better not tell you guys any more otherwise you won't watch the video! I hope you enjoy.. And here are a few pictures to gander at.
