Hello to all. I have a mid 60's Devere-Locke Homesteader Garden Tractor. It is complete except for the hood. Kohler K241 is currently in need of a rebuild; lifters are seized and bearings are rusty.
What I need from the Forum community.. 1. production numbers 2. location of model/serial number on chassis besides the one on the cowl. 3. info on how the reverse/clutch system works and how to service it. 4. Locating a Hood assembly for it. my understanding is that it is fiberglass. 5. Do any ownership clubs exist, or is there a go-to-guy that I need to contact?
