Whites would have rented him a skid steer, but since it isn't that difficult to fork the TMR from the truck to the feed cart Jeff said no thanks. The feed cart is about the same height as the dump truck rack, and Jeff is very careful about not spending money that doesn't need to be spent. Especially with the price of milk where it is right now.
Now if he had 300 head to feed, that would be a different story. This is one instance where having the smallest dairy in the county was an advantage. (smile)
