I have been called several times over the years. Most times it was just reporting to the jury pool in case you were needed. Some of the time it was just calling in to see if I needed to report. The last time it was a totally miserable experience. After getting the propaganda pitch and movie about "wonderful" it was to serve, we were jerked around all day. First thing was a case that was still being "negotiated" for a plea bargain. We were kept there until late afternoon, not allowed a lunch break, and finally sent home. I had a splitting headache and sick to my stomach from missing breakfast and lunch. A totally miserable day.
