Larry you can plant onion seeds now in a pot and a sunny window when the seeds sprout and get 4-5" cut them off to 2" when your soil warms you will be set to go. We panted ours a week ago and there up might be just a little early for us but they will be fine. We like to plant the last week in April onions peas and lettuce.
